| I have yet another huge prayer request. Sierra is a another 5 year old who I teach at my dance studio. She has been in serious need of a liver transplant for over a year. Her sick liver is stunting her growth, and causing many medical issues for her. I just received an e-mail from her mother saying that Sierra was admitted to Children's Hospital last Thurs. with labored breathing, high temp. and severe abdominal pain. The doctor's have run numerous tests, but have not come up with a diagnosis yet. Siearra has been on a high dose of antibiotics since then, they tried to take her off of them yesterday, but her temp. shot up once again. Her white blood count and platelets are very low, but no reason has been found yet. They are currently working on more tests to try to get to the bottom of this sudden issue. Her mother said that Sierra is now well enough that she has realized that she hates the hospital and doesn't want to be there. Please pray for immediate healing for this precious little girl, and strength & comfort for her and her family!!!

| Last night the bravest little ballerina I know danced her way into heaven. Grace touched the hearts of countless people with spirit, love, courage and compassion that was far beyond her five years. It was an honor to have known this remarkably inspirational child who taught us things about life that we only thought we knew. Ken and Jean Dance Studio will never be the same without our Amazing Grace. My deepest sympathy goes out to her mom Tamara, dad Brian, and 2 older brothers Colin & Garrett in this tragic time. The news was unbelievable, how could such a precious little girl's life be taken away from her by this awful disease in just over a year. Little Grace continuously amazed me over the past year, she truely was "Amazing Grace". Let us all remember what Grace always said "This is all for God!" Now you are free from pain, and dancing with joy in heaven. We all miss you down here, so remember to send us some of that strength and courage you possessed, and smile down on us as we now dance with you in our hearts!
hanging out with Gracie after the Race for Grace in December
Grace, I know that I will always keep you in my heart as I continue to dance. Whether on stage or in class I will keep your strength and smile with me. Whenever I look down at the blue "Dance for Life" bracelet on my wrist I will think of you precious Grace!! | | |
| Her mother says," Grace has had some issues the past few days with mucus build-up in her throat and is having trouble eating much that she wants to eat. Her speech is thus harder to understand, which is so frustrating to us all." Even with daily activities becomming more and more difficult to her, she remains happy little Grace who only cares for others. Her brothers friends have the flu, and all she wanted to do was make "get well soon" cards for them. She is an AMAZING fighter and needs God's strength to help her through this. Please continue to pray for her and her family, and keep them in your hearts, this is an extremely difficult time for them. They need his strength and mercy.......
